OUR STORY

Magnus is a nonprofit organization that was made from a desire to help those in need. In 2024, three students from neighboring cities came together with a shared passion for making a difference in their community. They saw a need for support among the homeless population in the Bay Area, and decided to take action. Starting with a small collection drive among friends and family, Magnus quickly grew into a larger effort that has now made a significant impact on those in need. After a few months, Magnus started increasing it's efforts to make an impact globally. Countries are going through hunger crises, war, natural disasters, etc. with no support. Magnus has been fortunate enough to be able to donate to countries like Congo, Ukraine, Somalia, India, and so many more that face conflict every single day.

To date, Magnus has raised over 5000 lbs of clothes, food, and educational materials in donations. These resources have been distributed to homeless populations in the Bay Area and today, Magnus is run by a team of 40+ brilliant students from around the Bay Area. Through our members' hard work and dedication, we have been able to improve the lives of countless people locally and nationally.
